Microphone volume extremely low

jueves, 04 de junio de 2009 19:50I have a MSI EX625 laptop that's dual booting Vista and Windows 7. My audio card is a Realtek High Definition Card with X-Fi mod drivers. The volume at which the microphone records at is extremely low. I have tried turning up and turning down the boost, enabling and disabling the enhancements, enabling and disabling the option to reduce the volume when windows detects communication activity, enabling/disabling the power options, and allowing/denying applications to take exclusive control of the microphone. Nothing so far has fixed anything. On Vista, microphone volume is fine, and there are no problems.

Because you have a Realtek card, you maybe be able to use this Microphone boost hack.

viernes, 10 de agosto de 2012 16:36I had this as well, and searched high and low. In frustration, I removed the Realtek HD software from the Add/Remove programs, and then got MS to install their own drivers using the Troubleshoot utility, and now the mic works properly.
