Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit
I want to share my media to my Xbox 360 and Blu-ray players with WMP 12. When I go into WMP 12 and click on stream and click on allow internet access to home media it tells me i need to link a Windows Live ID and takes me to this page (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/online-id-providers) to download whatever it is I need to install on my computer (wlsetup-idcrl). After downloading it I double click it to install and nothing happens. It shows it in Task Manager that I opened it however and if i try to start an installation of anything else it tells me something is already being installed (that being Windows Live ID, which isnt installing). I tried installing it in Safe Mode but when I did so it said it couldnt be installed while in Safe Mode.
2nd question is, I read somewhere that I should install Windows Live Essentials. I downloaded that and it starts installing and seems to just hang around 45% forever!

Hi,
Please perform a clean boot, disable your security software and firewall temporarily, and then right click the setup file, select run as administrator to install the application.
Regarding Windows Live Essentials installation issue, you can post in here.
