    when I try to play a video on any media player it just stays blank.   plzzz help

    What's the file type of the video (AVI, WMV, MPG)? Has it worked fine before?

    Does this happen for all videos or just one or a few?

    What video card do you have? Nvidia, Ati? If it's Ati go into the catalist control center and change the video preset from custom to home. You may need to try and play a video 1st.

    Hi,

    I would like to know whether this problem occurs on every player. If so, I suggest that you try to upgrade the graphic driver and test this issue in Clean Boot:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

    Note: Clean Boot is a step of troubleshooting, we can go back to normal by running MSCONIFG.
