    I got a bit of a Maleware problem with windows 7 becuase there is a leak in my security but something called WUDFHOST.exe keeps getting in and slows the machine to a crawl and I simply can't figure out where its coming from because its either coming in through a update or something.

    WUDFHOST.exe is not malware. It is a Windows system application. (Windows Driver Foundation - User-mode Driver Framework Host Process). I have one on each of 5 computers running Windows 7 but it does not cause any slowdown for me.

    Introduction to the Windows Driver Foundation

     

    Given the current situation, I suggest you test the issue in Safe Mode. If the issue doesn’t reoccur, the issue should be caused by a driver.
