I have a Windows 2003 R2 SP2 server I want to P to V with SCVMM. We have a new Windows 2008 R2 SP1 Cluster Shared volume solution in place where all our Microsoft Hyper-V's reside.
This 2003 server is going away within the next year so we don't want to upgrade it to 2008.
Can I P to V it with SCVMM to our CSV?
Is SCVMM the best way to do this? What is best practices?

    Hello ,

Yes you can use P2V with SCVMM. Your Windows 2003 server meet the requirements for P2V.

    Or you can use Disk2vhd.
