Windows 2008 Update

Dear All,
We have windows 2008 server Enterprise 64Bit with SP1 , This is Domain controller it is working but some time it's hanging . so i would like to updates windows latest hot-fix. or any important updates are available . We haven't updates since 2010 month of April . Please can you tell what is the important updates and your recommadation .

Instead of updating servers manually, you can use WSUS server.
Check the event logs on the domain controller troubleshoot using process monitor.

Hello,
start with SP2 http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=16468 and then use the latest ones from Windows update.
Please describe in detail the "hanging", how excatly do you realize this and are there any errors in the event viewer if it happens?

Dear All,
Thanks for very quick response . I will tell u hanging problem . When i try to logon to Remote Desktop to my server it was hanging . But pining response ok i couldn't get file sharing .
