  • Hi all,

    I am trying to execute the following command after installing Exchange 2010,

    Get-ExchangeServer ServerNamer | Format-List Name,Domain,Site,fqdn,ServerRole

    after executing the command I get the following error,

    The term 'Get-ExchangeServer' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, functi
    on, script file, or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a p
    ath was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.

    Hi,

    This error occurs when the Exchange Cmdlets snap-in has not been added to the PowerShell instance. 

    Add-PSSnapin Microsoft.Exchange.Management.PowerShell.E2010 This will add the Exchange Cmdlets to the current PowerShell instance.
