OWA ECP new-mailbox and change password feature

    Question

  • Hi,

    1. I'm using Exchange 2010 SP1, i need to new-mailbox feature on owa ECP. I heard this feature was taken back to the Exchange 2010 with sp1. Is it true ?

    2. Also; i need to change another user password in OWA ECP using RBAC ( not their own password ) is this possible?

How do I make them ?

    thanks

    1. This was in Exchange 2010 Beta, but was removed for RTM and is not back in SP1 either.

    2. I don't understand the question, can you elaborate please?

  • Hi Bugra,

You cannot reset other users passwords via ECP,either.

This function is just available on BPOS edition.

  • Hi Bugra,

Both 1 and 2 are not possible in Exchange 2010, be it RTM or SP1.
