Exchange 2010 ActiveSync cannot Send

    Question

  • So I think I'm close... I've looked at so many threads, but none have helped.

There are NO mobile devices that can send using ActiveSync on an Exchange 2010 server. We've tried 2 Android devices, an iPhone and a Blackberry. All can receive and sync contacts, but no send. I'm getting this in the Application Log but don't know what it means:

Watson report about to be sent for process id: 844, with parameters: E12, c-RTL-AMD64, 14.01.0218.011, AirSync, MSExchange ActiveSync, Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Storage.InboundConversionOptions.CheckImceaDomain, UnexpectedCondition:ArgumentException, 2908, 14.01.0218.015.
    ErrorReportingEnabled: False

Does anybody have any idea? I haven't updated anything, it just stopped working about a week ago.

We're running it on Server 2008 R2 Standard. 8GB RAM and 250GB HDD space.

If there's any other information you want or need just let me know. I'll be happy to supply it.

  • Hi,

Please try to download windows mobile emulator to your PC and then test ActiveSnyc again.

Please verify that there is one domain marked as "Default" and it'sDomainName & Name values are valid domain names. You can use get-acceptdomian |fl and then post the result here.

Please try to check log for your device from OWA and then post here. Detail steps you can refer to the article below:

By the way, what is the version of your Exchange Server? Do you have the latest update installed recently?

  • We DID have a working Exchange 2010 SP1 CAS server and the 28 Windows Phone 7 HTC devices were working perfectly, syncronising, sending and receiving without problems.

Something happened to the CAS server and I had to create a new server using SETUP /m:recoverserver option.

The recovery worked very well and everything seemed to be working again until a couple of users complained about not being able to send emails from the HTC phones. Now, after some investigation, it appears that NONE of the 28 HTC users can send mail! everything else works perfectly except for that issue!

    Any help would be appreciated

We get the same watson reports as Drew_820

" Watson report about to be sent for process id: 844, with parameters: E12, c-RTL-AMD64, 14.01.0218.011, AirSync, MSExchange ActiveSync, Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Storage.InboundConversionOptions.CheckImceaDomain, UnexpectedCondition:ArgumentException, 2908, 14.01.0218.015.
    ErrorReportingEnabled: False "

    Our Exchange CAS server is running;

Windows Server 2008R2 Enterprise (all up to date)

Windows Exchange 2010 SP1 (all up to date)
