Unable to Install Exchange 2007 SP2 - UpdErr: DSID-03150F9C, problem 6002 (OBJ_CLASS_VIOLATION)

    Question

  • Hi, could not update Exchange 2007 SP1 to SP2 because of Obj_Class_violation.

Found out it could be because of Ferrari Fax Office Master software (http://my.opera.com/RavenOverride/blog/2009/08/27/installing-sp1-sp2-for-exchange-2007-issues-part-2), so deinstalled everything, also the whole UM-Role, but no help.
Found some more information about missing auxilliary Class attributes http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/exchangesvrdeploy/thread/1f432502-9aaf-439a-8cb8-101b38efb695 - where ok, update still not possible.
Any idea, how to solve the problem and to find out what causes that Object Class Violation?
Is there a tool to find out whats going while the update runs?

Servers are all 2003R2x64. Second Exchange Server with Exchange 2003.

  • Hi,

    1.     First please ensure that you have uninstalled Ferrari Software for FAX/SMS.

    2.     Please check with adsiedit.msc under the "Microsoft Exchange" the Organisation to see if we have entry for a Fax/SMS Software

    3.     Please check  to verify if we have third party connectors under the Organisation Connectors for this third party product with
    the Sub-Object "Settings"

    Regards,
