  • I encountered the following error message when attempting to upgrade Exchange 2007 SP2 to SP3.

  • This doesn't tell us much.  Have you tried to just re-run the setup?  If it still gives you issues, can you post any errors/warnings from the Application log?  Also can you post relevant info from the Exchange setup log?  See the following links to help you with the Exchange setup log:

  • Hi,

    Agree with Tim to further investigate this issue the setup log is required. But have did some research on the error and found some things which might be caused by missing the correct IIS components.

    If there is any anti virus program, please disable it and then installing the SP3 once again.
