  • I received this error on a few of my computers after deploying the latest version of WSUS. Here is the exact error.

Security Update for Access Snapshot Viewer 2002 (KB955440)
Event reported at 2/10/2009 3:17 AM:
Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80070641: Security Update for Access Snapshot Viewer 2002 (KB955440).

It seems to be all office related updates. I am going to try your solution on one of the comptuers. If it works, how can I easily deploy this solution to all the computers without logging into each one individually?

    Thanks,

    Justin

  • Doesn't work for me either. Things stopped working after installing an ATI video card. It seems to have messed up the registry.
