  • So where are you trying to install Exch?  In which domain?

Before you do this, make sure you're in the correct groups for Exch & AD then perform the prep or just run setup.exe in the same AD site & domain as the Schema master.

Check the pre reqs on technet.

  • Hi Visk123,

Do you install Exchange server in the child domain?

If so, please Run setup /PrepareDomain:<FQDN of domain you want to prepare> for your child domain.

You can know more detail from this document:

    Prepare Active Directory and Domains

    Thanks,

    Evan
