Outlook 2007 repair problem

    Question

  • I connect outlook 2007 with MAPI to Exchange 2010 and it's ok, i can sent mail and receive mails, but when i go to Account Option  and i make repair profile is not find, this happen in some users not all.

    Why repair works for some users and for someone not

    I don't know is it outlook problem or exchange 2010 problem because for some users is ok repair work but for others doesn't work

    The Inbox Repair tool (Scanpst.exe) is designed to help repair problems that are associated with personal folder (.pst) files. The Inbox Repair tool is included on the first Microsoft Office CD-ROM. You can try to find the file referring to KB 272227.

    Besides, you can check the result when you recreate outlook profile.

    If it doesn’t work, please let us know.

    On same computer, one account log in with MAPI protocol and when i use repair is all good, but other account on same computer when use repair repair gets error, i don't know where to point the problem

    Error is:  unable to find "TEST" mailbox on server ...

    But there is no problem whit that mailbox, she\he connect with MAPI send\receive e-mail with no problems

  • It may be possible that there are some corruption issue occur in your PST file, you should try to fix it within in-built Inbox Repair Tool(Scanpst.exe).     Or take advantage of next advice:

    1) Create new Outlook Profile (Control Panel -> Mail)

    2) Use OWA

    3) Open the Calendar directly as opposed to using Scheduling Assistant
