OWA access from an html web page - where are the cached files for passwords

    Question

  • Using Exchange 2000 on Windows 2000 Server

I have a very simple html page that I create with a text box for user's id's.

VB Script or Java (I HAVE TRIED BOTH) is very simple with a navigate command where I put the name of the exchange server and add the text from the text box.  This gets them in OWA .....ie  http:\\chl1234\exchange\ + userid

Problem is that if a user clicked save password then if another user comes behind and leaves my text block blank, the last user who clicked save password gets his email thrown up on screen.

I know its a coding issue, but I can't find where to clear the cache of passwords.  Going into Explorer and clearing forms, passwords etc in IE  DOES NOT work.

Bottom line is I need to know how to clear this cache of passwords, or more specifically I need to know where it is.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

    Gordon
