Trouble with using Gmail as send connector

    Question

  • We are using gmail as a send connector for all of our outgoing emails.  I have it now setup and emails going out.  The problem is when a person receives a message from us the reply to address the user address used in the send connector authentication not the person who send the email.  The correct senders name is there but not the email address.  Do I need to setup a send connector for each user?  If so I do I set it so each user sends using the appropriate send connector?

    Thanks

  • I called them and they were not much help.  Because it is an Exchange thing they didn't offer much help.

  • Can you test sending directly to the internet instead of through google?

No, you are smarthosting because otherwise you wouldnt be able to deliver mail outbound.

  • just created a new send connector and used smtp.gmail.com as the smart host then used TLS authentication to our 'Google Admin'.

This the only send connector installed.
