  • Hi,

have you checked that TCP/443 is reachable? Perhaps the firewall configuration prohibit the the connection?

Have you checked your Active Sync configuration settings. Is Active Sync enabled on the Exchange Server?

Active Sync is enabled by default on the Exchange server.

I did a telnet from internal and got this message.

    HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request
    Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii
    Server: Microsoft-HTTPAPI/2.0
    Date: Tue, 13 Mar 2012 09:29:09 GMT
    Connection: close
    Content-Length: 326

    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN""http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/str
    ict.dtd">
    <HTML><HEAD><TITLE>Bad Request</TITLE>
    <META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" Content="text/html; charset=us-ascii"></HEAD>
    <BODY><h2>Bad Request - Invalid Verb</h2>
<hr><p>HTTP Error 400. The request verb is invalid.</p>
    </BODY></HTML>

    Connection to host lost.

    What does this mean?

    Hello,

Manually access the ActiveSync url via IE https://webmail.xxxxx.xxx.xx/Microsoft-Server-ActiveSync/. What’s the result?

Also check the IIS log the CAS server and post the detailed error code.

    Thanks,

    Simon

  • Hi,

please use the HTTPs protocoll instead of the unencrypted HTTP protocoll. Exchange 2010 alway uses the encrypted versions of the protocoll and therefor install a selfsigned certificate on all servers.
