Automatic configuration script error

    Question

  • I have just set up a new network with TMG as I have many times in the past. This time I'm having problems in that TMG clients cannot connect to the internet when the auto configuration script box is ticked.

    I looked at the autoconfiguration script and saw the following;

    DirectNames=new MakeNames();
    cDirectNames=1;
    HttpPort="8080";
    cNodes=1;
    function MakeProxies(){
    this[0]=new Node("192.168.50.109",4287670338,1.000000);

    The issue here is that the TMG internal interface is 192.168.50.1 whereas the script above is giving a proxy interface of 192.168.50.109 which is the current IP address of the RAS (Dial In) interface.

    Why is TMG getting this wrong?
