UAG 2010 and its licensing

    Question

  • I’m wondering if someone can help me regarding with my scenario

I am planning to replace our ISA 2006 servers by Microsoft UAG 2010 servers.

What I am going to is just to publish lots of web services and some other one like FTP, SMTP and so on.

I have decided to make a NLB clustering by 4 servers; each one includes 4 CPUs and 8 Core for each.

In addition to above description, 100 servers (roughly) and about 300 different services are suppose to set behind of this UAG cluster.  Do not forget that lots of this serves are going to be accessed from outside of our network and vise versa.

The numbers of users, going to connect to these services are unlimited.

Following to above description, anybody can inform me about the best and the most cost effective format for licensing of detailed scenario (server license, user CAL/Device CAL, External connector License)
