C: disk space is filling up while Froefront Client Security Scan inprogress.

    General discussion

  • we have server 2003 installed with FCS and scheduled weekly scan, we observed that from past 3 weeks that C:\ Disk space is filling up with while scanning inprogress, and after scan finishes same filled disk space is released back :).

I just want to know, where(path) and which files are filling up the disk space while FCS running the scan...?

i have gone throught the below link to find what causing this issue but no luck :(, i monitored the server myself till the scan completes and found that when FCS is scanning the drive which is of 1.76 TB the free space in C: is rapidly decreasing. Hopefully the consumed space is reflecting back after the SCAN.

can any one help me in finding the files eating up the entire space( disk capacity is :32GB, freespace: 12.3GB).

when scan runs the entire free space is consumed leaving 683MB.
