i have a web site with portions that are http and https. when i go to the site from within my institution, some pages are http and some are https - as they should be. but when i go through TMG, all the pages are coming up https.
The publishing rule and listener are set to accept both http and https. further, the option 'do not redirect http to https' is selected.
any idea why everything is redirected to https? did i miss something.the website is www.gunnery.org if you want to see the effect.
thanks

This is probably being caused by link translation...

correction - turing off link translation seems to have partially fixed the issue. the homepage is still coming up with https the first time, but not if i return to it. strange.
thanks

Hi,
Do you have any update about this issue?

Hi all. That already happened in previous versions of ISA. It seems as if when navigating in HTTPS, ISA prevents failing back to HTTP as it can be considered as a security issue (that is my personal explanation, not an official posture from anybody). I used to solve it by adding a rule in link translation that says http://www.mysite.com/whatever -> http://www.mysite.com/whatever
I Know it sounds funny, but I am not joking, I swear

sorry i have not responded - been away for a while. i think i solved it. i was having www.gunnery.org redirect to portal.gunnery.org via a response.redirect statement. i used IIS instead to do the redirect and now it is working. not sure why it would make a difference - but there you go.
thanks for all the suggestions.
