Windows 7 Forefront Installation
- Hey,
there is a problem, if I would like to install Forefront on Windows 7. We install forefront with WSUS and a GPO. Windows Server and all Windows XP Clients install the client automatically. If I check the gpresult, I could see the right GPO. But Windows 7 don't install Forefront.
Could anybody help me ?

FCS is supported for Windows 7:

be sure you have installed the following updates:

Do you mean Forefront TMG Client ? or ForeFront Client Security ?

Forefront is a colletion of products that work at the edge, at the client, and on servers. These products include:
Forefront Protection for Exchange
Forefront Protection for SharePoint
Forefront Endpoint Protection
Forefront Threat Management Gateway (TMG)
Forefront Unified Access Gateway (UAG)
Forefront Protection Manager
In relation to TMG, you might want to install the TMG client (formerly the "firewall client") This can be done via GPO if you like, or SCCM or any other software distribution mechanism you prefer.
