Old DP locked on child primary

Hello. My environment is SCCM 2007 SP2 with R3. I have a central server and several child primaries. Each child primary has secondary servers assigned to it that are DPs and clients pull from these. All packages are created on the central server.
On one of the child primary servers, there is a package created on central. There is an old DP under the package on one of the child primary servers but it is not on the central server. Since it is not on the central server, I cannot delete it. Since it is locked on the child primary, I cannot delete it there either.
I should also note that the secondary servers use server shares for the DPs. The problem secondary server had two server shares for the DPs. So there were two DPs. I know that I can use preinst to kill the entire site but I only want to get rid of the bad DP for the site and not the entire site.
Does anyone know how I can do this?

You can try using the script mentioned in the below blog post

Other option would be to temporarily "stand up" the deleted Share DP again (until it is recognized by the system), then "remove" the association between any packages and that DP (should go quickly since it is not there), let sites replicate (how long - depends on your environment... go to lunch then come back, should be done), then delete the DP again.- Marqué comme réponse Eric MattoonMicrosoft Employee, Moderator jeudi 23 février 2012 15:01
