Lync 2010 PIC and Passport accounts

Hi,
I'm about to configure PIC with my Lync 2010 infraestructure for my domain ex:company.com.br, and I have some users with old passport accounts with the same name company.com.br. I'm worried about the colateral effects of enabling PIC for company.com.br on these passport accounts, if any.
Should I worry about it ?
This article applies ( http://support.microsoft.com/gp/publicimconnect ) ?
Thanks

You shouldn't be. Users with Live IDs matching your domain will be prompted to change them the first time they logon after MSN provisioning is complete. They won't lose any of their data or MSN Messenger contacts.Mike Stacy | http://mikestacy.typepad.com

My suggestion is to notify users to change the LiveID's from your Lync domain to another domain before you get Lync live, and to have the same users know they need to have people that have their liveid@lyncdomain.com in thier livemessenger contact list to remove the liveid version, and then add the lync version.
be very careful on the liveID change! it can only be done once every 6 months!!
