504 Error sending from communicator to OWA 2010

mardi 16 février 2010 11:04I have applied all the hot fixes on the communicator 2007 R2 server but still get a 504 ID error when sending from communicator to OWA 2010
I can go from OWA 2010 to communicator fine?

What I was trying to do was get the IM working from OWA.
What I had to do was install the latest hotfix from MS on the exchange server for UcmaRedist http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=B3B02475-150C-41FA-844A-C10A517040F4&displaylang=en&displaylang=en
What I also did was remove the UM role from exchange and install some of the office communicator web access stuff on the exchange server prior to doing the above
Not sure which one of these fixed it but it didnt start working until i installed the hotfix(im pretty sure I tried to install this before but it failed as it said it was installed)
