Help Desk / Support Ticket Template
Help Desk / Support Ticket Template
- Is there a Help Desk / Support Ticket template someplace that will work with Microsoft SharePoint Online? I found the Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Application Template: Help Desk template but it sounds like that will not work with SharePoint Online? Is that correct?

- I am not familar with that template so I'll give you some general rules around templates and SharePoint Online.
You can deploy templates to site collections with the following constraints.
1. You can't deploy any custom code
2. You cannot use templates to create a new site collection. But you can upload a template to an existing site collection and create sub sites with it.

- To exend what Troy has mentioned. Server Admin Templates cannot be deployed to SharePoint Online. The "Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Application Template: Help Desk" is one of the Fantastic 40 templates that we are considering to implement. Please open a feature request to BPOS Technical Support using your Microsoft Online Admin Center to help drive this feature.
You can apply any of the Site Admin templates to a new sub site. Again, templates cannot be applied to Site Collections.
