Hotmail Sign on Problems

When I was living with my former girlfriend she and i both had hotmail accounts . and could sign in and use our hotmail , reading and opening and sending e-mails was not a problem when we both seperately signed into hotmail .
I am not living with her anymore , though we are still good friends , and my problem is : only my name comes up on hotmail id to sign in , My friend can no longer access her hotmail account and therefore send e-mails check her emails, etc .
Any solution to her recoverying her own e-mail account on her own computer ?
