    Hi mcsuarez,

We will need some additional information from you to try and help:

    - How many web front ends are in your SharePoint farm?

    - Did you publish the InfoPath Form Template (XSN file) as version 2010?

    - Is this a "browser" form (designed to be open in the browser?)

    - What URL did you use when you published the XSN?

    - If you attempt to use that same URL to open the form in the browser, what is the result? (If you get an error, please provide the text of the error message.)

    - When you get the error, are you using the same URL as you used to publish the XSN?

    - Does this behavior occur with every XSN you publish?

    - The first place to really begin troubleshooting this is through the ULS logs - please complete these steps:

         - Navigate to your Central Admin site

         - Select the "Monitoring" section

         - Select "Configure Diagnostic Logging"

         - Enable "InfoPath Forms Services" and in the dropdown box below this text: "Least critical event to report to the trace log" select: Verbose

         - Make note of the path to your log files and click OK

         - Reproduce the behavior

         - Navigate to the ULS log files (directory noted above), open the latest log file, scroll to the very bottom and work your way back up and see if there are any errors around opening your InfoPath form. There should be some errors logged noting more details around the problem.

    Hi Scott,

How many web front ends are in your SharePoint farm? One only web front end.

Did you publish the InfoPath Form Template (XSN file) as version 2010?

Yes, I published much form template in the intranet.

Is this a "browser" form (designed to be open in the browser?)

Yes, the evidence on the intranetand can be seenperfectlyin the browser.

What URL did you use when you published the XSN?

    http://XXX:2014/SC/  urlis theintranetportaland SCis thesite.
And we modify the template XSN in the direction
    SC/Forms/template.xsn

If you attempt to use that same URL to open the form in the browser, what is the result? (If you get an error, please provide the text of the error message.)

When I publishthe form on theintranetportalno problem, the problem occurs when I want topublish the formon the Internet
This is the address where you open the form if you have a problem though, the main url to our website is http://xxx.gtsve.com:10012  and when I view the form any changes the puertode 10012-2014 which is the intranet.

Click Try Again to attempt to load the form again. If the error persists, contact the support team of the website.

Click Close to exit this message.

This form template is not enabled for display in the browser.

    Id del  error 1fa1fa3f-ceaf-4b88-8309-cb405678f671

When you get the error, are you using the same URL as you used to publish the XSN?

When Itry topublishon the Internetwithinfopathwizardshows methis error.

Infopath cannot find or cannot acces the following Web server : http://xxx.gtsve.com:10012 Make sure that Web server name is valid, that your proxy settings are correct, and  that you have the necessary permissions to publish to this library.

If the server requires you to log on through the browser, log on there and select the option to remember your log on information, then try to publish again OK.

Does this behavior occur with every XSN you publish?

    Yes.

    Hi MorellaC,

Thank you for the information. This brings me to a few more questions:

    - Do you have a SharePoint Alternate Access Mapping for the FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) you are attempting to publish to and access?

    - If you are unable to even publish to the FQDN, then you won't be able to "hand modify" the URL to be the FQDN. I assume you can successfully launch IE and navigate to your site using the "internet" (FQDN) URL - correct?

    - In IE, go to Tools -> Connections -> LAN Settings - is "Automatically Detect Settings" enabled? If so, if you uncheck this option and attempt to publish, do you get the same error?

    - Are you familiar with the Fiddler network tracing tool? You can download it from here: http://fiddler2.com/fiddler2/version.asp - if none of the above helps, download and install the Fiddler tool and run this while you try to publish to the FQDN. If nothing above helps, maybe this will shed some light on what is causing the failure.

In the end, you may need to open a support case with Microsoft so an InfoPath engineer can work with you in your environment but in the interim, hopefully some of the items I have mentioned will be of help.

    Hi MorellaC,

My apologies but I am not sure I follow...are you saying you do *not* have an AAM for the FQDN? If not, can you manually add one for the FQDN?

    Thanks,

    Scott

    Hi Scott,

I went back to make the extension of the web application, I have three AAM, One is the Default Zone and Two Internet Zone.

    First Internet Zone

    Internat URL  http://FQDN<servername.domain.int:19673>

    Public URL for Zone http://portal.externaldomain.com:19673

    Second Internet Zone

    Internat URL  http://portal.externaldomain.com:19673>

    Public URL for Zone http://portal.externaldomain.com:19673

the site is access from the Internet http://portal.externaldomain.com

when I open an xml generated by a form, i received this error

    Could not open http://servername:19673/xxx/xxx/Forms/template.xsn

    Thanks MorellaC,

So when you create an InfoPath form from an XSN (the template) the "href" (a URL) is stored in the XML that is a pointer to where that published XSN is located. When you actually published the XSN, did you publish it using the NetBios name of your server? It looks like it from the URL in your "Could not open" error line above. Assuming this is the case, what happens if you re-publish the XSN using the FQDN for your site?

MorellaC - one other thing: trying re-publishing the XSN (using the FQDN) to a different library unless what you have now is just a test library.
