    Hi,

    I am using social commenting webpart in publishing pages.

    If i take a site collection backup and restore will the comments get restored?

    Is it a custom web part, I don't think I know that one.  If its all OOB, then it should restore just fine.

    Hi,

    It is OOB web part, but the comments are getting stored in Social DB.

    So in this case will the restore work?
