MySite Extranet URLs swicth to Intranet URLs and sometime Intranet URLs to external
- Hi,
Actually I setup my sharepoint site internally and externally.
using internally I have http://mysharepoint and for externally http://mysharepoint.co.uk
I have DNS setup for both and host header on the IIS and I have the AAM settings for both.
But when I am trying to access internally MYSITE link url point to external. If I make changes to IIS internal site 80 port to 8080, it start working fine but
accessing external MYSITE link url start pointing to internal :(
Any idea what and where I am doing worng

- Are you saying you want MySites to be available both internally and externally? I haven't done that one, but I would check the settings of the MySite application, along with the information stored in the SSP configuration.

They are already available on interanet and exteranet, but links having problems they not switching urls properly.

Could you give us AAM and host header you set up in IIS for each zone ?
This should be something like that :
Zone Internal URL Public URL IIS
Default http://mysharepoint.admin http://mysharepoint.admin http://mysharepoint.admin
Intranet http://mysharepoint http://mysharepoint http://mysharepoint
Extranet http://mysharepoint.co.uk http://mysharepoint.co.uk http://mysharepoint.co.uk
