Microsoft Sealed SCSM Management Packs

mercredi 30 mai 2012 10:44I need to update the Microsoft sealed MP "Web Application Monitoring Library" [Microsoft.SystemCenter.WebApplication.Library.mp] from version 6.1.7221.61 to 6.1.7221.81 to allow me to import a SCOM 2007 Distributed Application MP, which has a dependency on the higher version sealed MP, so that I can create the Business Service within SCSM 2010. I cannot find the latest version of the MP on the SCOM managment server.
In SCOM 2007 there is a nice simple download MP option which connects to the internet. Incredibly there does not appear to be any such option in SCSM 2010. Is there a location where I can download the latest MP version of the Microsoft sealed MPs? What is the Microsoft recommended way of updating the SCSM 2010 Microsoft sealed MPs?- Modifié Kieran Laffan mercredi 30 mai 2012 10:50

Currently, Microsoft Sealed MPs are not allowed to be modified. Or at least I dont think. Secondly, I wouldnt even mess with them. You should be able to "extend" your SCSM environment by creating/writing a new MP to meet you needs. Even if you are able to modify the Microsoft sealed MP, I wouldnt reccommend it. If you absolutely need to, you will need to reach out the SCSM engineering team to figure out how to do that.
