windows 7 media center streaming mpeg2 to xbox 360

samedi 17 janvier 2009 22:03I have a problem streaming mpeg2 files from windows' 7 media center to my xbox 360. Normally i rip my dvds and convert them to mpegs and stream them to my xbox360. when i had vista media center it would work just fine with out any lag. Now with windows 7 when i play the file it lags and pauses constantly. How come it will work in Vista and not Windows 7 i have my xbox and pc connected through cat6 wire, bandwidth is not a problem what so ever. My pc is pretty beefy with at ati 4850 series video card and Streaming recorded tv is not a problem at all. any help please
- I tried messing with my router settings
- fire wall settings
- installed different codecs but no luck
- i even installed windows 7 on my laptop and tried to stream from there and still have the same problem

lundi 19 janvier 2009 05:21Modérateur There has been some changes to the Media Center in Windows 7. My best guess would be that there is still fine tuning that will be needed to get Windows 7 and the XBOX 360 to function correctly together. I have seen several topics of this sort with Windows 7 not fully functional with the XBOX 360.
