Hi and thanks for reading,
I have a reoccurring problem with a program on my computer. I can be using the program or it is open in the background and I receive one of two messages:
Error: Access violation at 0x10FFFD26 (tried to read from 0x00000000), program terminated.
Or this one:
JETCAM Expert for Windows - CAD/CAM Software has stopped working.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
This is the error message in event viewer (I generally always get the message below when it crashes):
Faulting application name: JETCAMII.EXE, version: 188.8.131.52, time stamp: 0x4f71e668
Faulting module name: unknown, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000
Exception code: 0xc000001d

Faulting process id: 0xe6c
Faulting application start time: 0x01cd0de674c6b696

Faulting module path: unknown
Report Id: 46620e8d-79f8-11e1-8948-1c6f659ff346
About 50% of the time I get the message above accompanied by the message below:
Windows cannot access the file for one of the following reasons: there is a problem with the network connection, the disk that the file is stored on, or the storage drivers installed on this computer; or the disk is missing. Windows closed the program JETCAM Expert for Windows - CAD/CAM Software because of this error.
Program: JETCAM Expert for Windows - CAD/CAM Software
The error value is listed in the Additional Data section.
1. Open the file again. This situation might be a temporary problem that corrects itself when the program runs again.
2. If the file still cannot be accessed and
- It is on the network, your network administrator should verify that there is not a problem with the network and that the server can be contacted.
- It is on a removable disk, for example, a floppy disk or CD-ROM, verify that the disk is fully inserted into the computer.
3. Check and repair the file system by running CHKDSK. To run CHKDSK, click Start, click Run, type CMD, and then click OK. At the command prompt, type CHKDSK /F, and then press ENTER.
4. If the problem persists, restore the file from a backup copy.
5. Determine whether other files on the same disk can be opened. If not, the disk might be damaged. If it is a hard disk, contact your administrator or computer hardware vendor for further assistance.

This issue appears the be specific to Windows 7 (we only have x64). We don't have any issues with this program on the Windows XP x32 machines. I received my current machine in April 2011, and it worked fine until December when I first started having these issues. Since then I have done extensive work to my computer to try and pin point the cause but I'm getting nowhere. I have formatted four times, new video card, I have run the program in compatibility mode, Turned off DEP, computer came with a RAID array and I'm now running from a single drive, run memest, repair install of windows.
The files that we edit using this program are on a network drive on our server running Server 2008. I thought it may have something to do with access to these files however I have admin access to read/write everywhere, also, a colleague of mine received a new PC (Win XP x32 to Win 7 x64). He did not have a problem on the old computer, however using the same credentials to access the server he now gets the similar problems to me when using his new PC. I should point out that this is the only program on the PC that I'm having trouble with, everything else is working fine.
We have a maintenance contract with the vendor of this software and they are unable to provide an explanation and tell me that the issue is specific to my PC as they have many customers who run it successfully on Windows 7 x64. I seem to be able to run it fine on my laptop which gives credence to their statement.
Here are my system spec's:
Intel Core i7 960 3.2GHz Windows 7 Pro x64 8GB Kingston RAM ATI FirePro v4800 240 GB Intel 520 SSD (OS) 2 x 500GB Seagate HDD 1 x 2TB Seagate HDD

Once again, thanks for reading and any help would be much appreciated.

I would like to confirm whether there are Windows XP machines which work fine are in the domain now.
Have you installed any update for the program before issue occurs?
Is your Windows 7 laptop running locally? It seems this issue doesn’t occur on local machine.
I found this entry “ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for JETCAMII.EXE GetPageUrlData failed, server returned HTTP status 404 URL requested” in the dump file.
And sometimes it crashes comes with this error message ""
Thus, this issue could related to the files which on a network drive on Server 2008.
Did you try to create a new network drive on a different computer? The cause may be network connection, domain user permission and some third party applications.
Meanwhile, you can test the issue in Clean Boot to check whether this issue is related to the third party applications.

Thank you for responding.
We do not have a domain controller, the PCs are in a workgroup, but yes, the XP machines are connected and working fine.
The error has occurred on multiple versions of Jetcam.
"I found this entry “ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for JETCAMII.EXE GetPageUrlData failed, server returned HTTP status 404 URL requested” in the dump file."
I don't think there is a way to get the symbols for 3rd party software.
I don;t think its the network drives either, the XP machines are looking at the same files and they have no problem. I will give clean boot a try.
