Procedure to split forest into domains that includes Exchange server

I am looking for a procedure that will properly enable us to split a forest domain into separate domains that includes Exchange server. The procedure should take into account FSMO roles, DNS, AD replication, Mailboxes, user accounts ect. Where can I find such a procedure.
This is required do to a split of a company into two separate companies.

Hi,
You would like to split forest into domains the include Exchange server.
If you would like to separate the users in the GAL that only the same company users could view the contacts. I think you need to do GAL segregation.

We would like to split the domain into 2 domains. There will be and Exchange server in both of the newly created domains. Users will be split be physical location.
