Hi,
I need to resize primary local partition (C:/) on 1 of the cluster node.
Is it possible that the partition is not identical with other node.
Need advise.
Thanks.

Hi,
Cluster doesn’t care the size of the local partition. However, please ensure that the system will not run out of the disk space.

Thanks to all,

Hi,
RAM not needed to be identical.
But if a SQL resource use too much memory in Node A , it will want to use the same in Node B.
Therefore for best practice and depending your application , try to keep them closer.

vendredi 4 mai 2012 05:08So long as cluster validation report returns green, everything is considered fine for the cluster. This is how you should proceed. However, you would still want to keep the differences to as little as possible, for operational reasons. Ideally, if you ask me, I would keep same h/w, s/w, sp, patch and just about everything same.
