I created a Win2k03x86 Guest. Here's what I found in the directory structure

    D:\VMs\Win2k03x86\
                        Win2j03x86
                         Virtual Machines
                          Folder named "5E363FEE-26A1-43D2-97A7-1FD78754061B"
                          5E363FEE-26A1-43D2-97A7-1FD78754061B
                        Win2k03x86.vhd

What a mess! At least I see the "vhd" file but where is the vmx\vmc file? And what file in Explorer
does one double-click to start the VM running?

    TIA,

There is no .vmc file and there is nothing to click in Explorer to start the virtual machine.  You need to use the Hyper-V manager to start virtual machines.
