Hi,

Hello,
Can you check the VM from Failover Cluster Manager that the passthrough disk is also clustered?
It seems that VM is HA but the disk is not in HA.
Click on the VM in Failover Manager , see the vm and if the disk is as resource.
Sincerely,
Murat Demirkiran

Disks are clustered and appears as resource, during the migration the disk drives gone online quickly, I have problem with "Virtual Machine Configuration" that stay in "Online Pending" for few minutes than say "Failed".
I check VM Settings and seems all correct.
From Windows Disk Management disk are seen as Reserved.
I can not understand what is wrong

I obtain the only warning "No changes in the virtual machine role storage configuration were detected."
If I check on VM Folder on cluster node, in "Virtual Machines\ID\" there are 1 .bin and 1 .vsv files probably left over from a previous attempt to move. There may be those files to create problems?

To confirm your theory, try the following:
1) stop the virtual machine
2) create a new virtual machine (so with different name)
3) attach existing virtual hard disk / pass through disks
4) start the new virtual machine
5) try to move/quick/live migrate

lundi 11 juin 2012 13:17I could try to stop the VM and simply delete files .vsv and .bin files?
It is an Exchange server,I can't make mistakes! I'm "afraid" to re-create the VM and to try to reattach disks -
mardi 12 juin 2012 07:54Trust me, it is the safiest method. If you delete .vsv and .bin files you may have a trouble. Creating a new virtual machine does not affect the virtual disk.
