Visio workflow visualization is not refreshed (Visual Studio workflow)

Hi there,
I’ve got some problems with my workflow visualization in SharePoint 2010.
I designed the workflow in VS2010, created a Visio diagram and added it as a module to the SharePoint features.
I’ve added the ‘ShowPreview’ and ‘PreviewHref’ properties to the elements file of the workflow, assigned the relevant shape guid stuff to the description property of the corresponding workflow activities and tested the workflow.
It worked like a charm, however after adding some more shapes and deploying the solution again, it’ still using the old Visio diagram.
If I save the Visio file to another filename and define the new file in the elements.xml, it uses the new diagram.
Switching to the old file name again, will load the previous diagram, so I guess it’s some kind of caching issue.
I’ve already tried clearing the %APPDATA%\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache as well as the %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WebsiteCache\ caches, without success.
Does anybody know what is going wrong here?
Regards,
Daniel

Hi Manish,
Thanks for the reply.
I lowered both Cache Ages to one minute, it did however not solve the problem.
Any other hints?Regards

Maybe you can try to stop and start Visio Graphic Service! I think you should be good with workaround save the Visio file to another filename and define the new file in the elements.xml.- סומן כתשובה על-ידי Emir LiuMicrosoft Contingent Staff, Moderator יום שישי 06 יולי 2012 06:28
