Sharepoint 2010 environment. I used the following method to Copy a site from one location to another:
From the site > Site Actions > Manage Content and Structure
From the site dropdown options > Copy... and selected the new home for the site
Everything got created and is visible, however, lists are no longer associated with their workflows (or: the workflows are no longer associated with any lists, however you want to think about it).
I can't figure out how to associate an existing workflow with an existing list. It seems like this should be possible in Sharepoint Designer (I can change associated task and history lists, just not the actual list its attached to), but I can't figure out how. How do I fix my workflows so they are attached to my lists again (like they are in the original site)? Do I have to create new blank workflows and copy content over or something?
Any help/advice would be appreciated! Thank you.

I understand that you want to associate an existing workflow to another list .In SharePoint Designer ,after a workflow is created ,you cannot change the associated list unless you are using the reusable workflow .Reusable workflow can be bond to multiple lists or libraries .As for other workflows ,you will have to use Visio to help the re-association .
