שאלה Web site's Top Visitors list includes some IP addresses

We have SharePoint 2010 Foundation on a single server farm with anonymous access turned off.  The main web application requires an Active Directory account login; the site is extended to allow FBA logins.

When I look at the root site's web analytics Top Visitors report for the site most of the entries are employees' accounts.  However, a handful of them are IP addresses.  I asked one of our IT people who said that they are dynamically assigned internal addresses so it is impossible to know who the user is.  Can anyone tell me why the IP address is stored in the report for some of the users instead of the users' user names?

    Thanks!

    David

I think it is because of the FBA logins.

    Sid,

Thanks for your reply.  Unfortunately, the FBA logins are also appearing in the report.  And as I mentioned the IP addresses are internal addresses, so they couldn't correspond to external users.
