Discussion Having issues with Agentless Error Reporting on some machines

    Hi - I am having issues with a number of computers in my domain being unable to report problems since adding them to the management group for SCE.  So far it seems to be all Vista/Windows 7 computers; I have had 2 successful error reports from XP machines, and it's more difficult to track.

    Using Problem Reports and Solutions, it attempts to send all problem reports and stops at number 2 in each case (different PCs, different issues) and then says that it could not report problems, try again later.  I have triggered deliberate errors with the AEM test application to test this as well (not yet tried this on XP).  I'm not sure where else to look.  I believe that I have checked firewalls fairly thoroughly, and the fact that some computers are succesfully submitting reports makes me think that's not the issue.

    Hi!

    To help us understand this issue, could you please use the OpsMgr AEM Validation tool to attempt to verify the end-to-end functionality of AEM?

    Hello - sorry, I didn't get any notification that this had been answered and just happened to check by again. 

    I did say in my original post that I had used the AEM tool to try to troubleshoot this and had not got very far.  I am receiving reports properly from XP and Server 2003 computers, but nothing from Windows 7, Server 2008, or Vista computers.  In each case they just say that they are having a problem reporting the problem and that I need to try again later.  Windows 7 says that some of the reports could not be uploaded to the Windows Error Reporting Service.

    The Windows event log shows the following:
