  • Hi,

Four users who tries to send a e-mail to serveral people get the following errors for each recipient.

We are using Exchange 2007 Service Pack 3 with Update Rollup 4 that we installed about a week ago.

I guess there a some more people who are getting this error but did not reported it yet...

Any other Mailtransport seems to be normal.

So, only some users are being reporting for this issue. Did you check any other event in HUB transport server for perticular time when user send email. Also ask problem user to send email for same user thru OWA not with outlook and then see. It will help us to narrow down issue wit HUB transport or Mailbox server.

  • Hi,

I would like to suggest you run offline defrag on the source database.

    1. Run offline defrag on the source database.

    a. Dismount the mailbox store.

    b. Open command prompt c:\program files\exchsrvr\bin>eseutil /d “c:\program files\exchsrvr\mdbdata\priv1.edb”  Drive should have the required 110% freespace of the database size]

    2. To fix the logical corruption in the database run the isinteg command as follows.

    Dismount the mailbox store.

    a. Go to command prompt

C:\program files\exchsrvr\mdbdata\bin>Isinteg -s Server name -fix -test alltests

Note: Make sure the Information store Service is started

You will be prompted to select the database select 1 & hit "Y"

  • Because we could not get it fixed, we uninstalled the last update rollup we installed (UR 4 or 5 for Exch07 SP3)
