    Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Event ID 1077. It creates an event every minute in Windows event Viewer.

    Thank you for the post.

     

    Before going any further, please install the latest Rollup 2 for Forefront Protection for SharePoint. You can download the Rollup from the below mentioned link.

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2592450.

     

    According to the error message, it looks to be a problem with the user account under which the Microsoft Forefront Protection Controller for SharePoint Service runs. Please check all permissions/privileges of the user account:

    - Must be a member of the local Administrators group on the server on which SharePoint Portal Server is installed

    - Must have system administrator rights in the SharePoint content database.

    - If SharePoint is configured to connect to the database using Windows authentication, this account must also be a member of the SQL Sysadmin role on the database server.  In SQL 2008, members of the Local Administrators group on the SQL server are NOT members of the Sysadmin role by default.  (I am not sure about the SQL version you are using)

    - Account must have “Log on as a Service” user right locally. (In Local Security Policy, check Local Policies > User Rights Assignment.)
