So this means that users can use their local AD accounts to logon to SharePoint. Now my question is what if we want to create an account for a user who does not have a AD account, how do we do that? For example a company would have all their
internal users in their AD. If an external user like us wants to logon to SharePoint, do they have to create an account in AD or can that be by passed for this user alone?
2. I also need to know whether the AD sync can be done using some third party tools like the net IQ sync tool or should it be done using the microsoft AD sync tool only.
