    Hi all,

First time posting here so be gentile.  Was wondering how you all are managing workstation virtual machines that are on a wireless connection?  It seems the only way for them to pick up an valid IP address is to leave them in bridge mode and connect the network cable to them but when cable is disconnect and it connects to a wireless connection only the host will pick up a valid IP.  Would be more a VMware question then a SCCM question?

Yes, that would be a vmware question.  Sounds to me like your VMClients don't have a NIC defined to use the wireless NIC.  You like need two virtual NICs defined for each the vm workstations: one to pass thru to the wired, and one to pass thru to the wireless.  So when the host switches, the VMs can switch too.

    Standardize. Simplify. Automate.

Just to add a little something to Sherry's answer. There is no difference in the number of features supported for the virtual machines VS a "normal" client (in CM07 that is). Once the client is installed it will be like managing any other client.
