06 Nopember 2007 1:27Dear All,
Need help regarding this issue. I've successfully installed ISA 2004 on my Win2K Server. The problem is, I cannot start the ISA Services. Everytime i try to start the ISA Server Control, this message appear.
" Windows could not start the Microsoft-ISA Server Control on Local Computer. For more information review the system error log. If this is non-Microsoft service, contact the servcie vendor, and refer to the server specified error code - 1073727715."
At the system log, this is the error
"The Microsoft ISA Server Control service terminated with service-specific error 3221239581"
I've tried search in the web but no result. Can anyone please help?

For how many processors have you licensed ISA Server?
Have you installed the latest ISA 2004 SP3?
Windows 2000 does not know how to handle hyperthreading and sees every processor as a physical processor.
So try to disable hyperthreading or upgrade to Windows 2003
Mind that this is an Exchange Server forum
