I can't use windows Explorer without it crashing & restarting again and again

20 Januari 2012 18:37all of a sudden when I clicked on a main file to open other files windows explorer comes up with a box that say windows explorer has crashed and is trying to fix the problem.then it does.and I try using it again and the same answer.I can't open anything with a file that needs windows explorer.why is this happening?

We need more detailed informations about this problem.
Check the Windows "Application" and "System" logs in the Event Viewer to see if there's any record related to this problem; then, post more details here.Bye.

Luigi, I have the same problem, but how can I/we access these logs in the Event viewer if we can't even LAUNCH the Event Viewer since it must be launched from the Start menu??? The Windows Explorer crash/restart is happening every few seconds for me.
What can we do in this situation?

Run the Windows Task Manager by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + ESC, choose "New Task (Run...)" from the "File" menu, type "eventvwr.msc" and hit ENTER.
