Proposed Copy Paste doesn't work with Lync 2010

    There are certain feature doesn't work for me with

    Microsoft Lync 2010

    Version 4.0.7577.275

     

    I have the above Lync install and it works fine for calling, But it doesn't work for Copying Pasting text on the IM,

    i can't use keyboard shortcuts as it says the shortcut on the right click of the features.

     

    how i can fix this problem as i searched on the net but culdn't find anything relevant to my issue.

    Can you try to update the client version to CU3 , http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2571543

    Hi Dilip,

    Any update?

    If you right click in the IM window, and select Copy/Paste, not by the keyboard shortcuts, it’ll be normal?

    How about the other machines?

    I experience this same problem as well.  The right click menu shows the copy/paste, but keyboard shortcuts do not work in the IM window.  I'm on version 4.0.7577.280

    Upgrade your client to the CU3 version of 4.0.7577.314 as I used to see this happen all the time but since updating to CU3 I cannot recall it happening once.  It appears to have been resolved by a fix in CU3.

    Yep that did it!  Mine auto upgraded and now I can copy paste using the keyboard shortcuts with no problem.  Thanks!

    Copy/ Paste (and the delete key, perhaps others...) stops functioning from the keyboard intermittently with Lync 2010 (I am using 4.0.7577.4098). Exiting and restarting link restores the functionality. This is definitely a MS Lync 2010 issue. You can use the mouse/context menu copy/paste, or exit and restart Lync to restore the functionality.
