Access 2007 forms under 2010: Combo Box controls behaving oddly.

I was brought an Access file today that has the most peculiar problem: When the client upgraded to 2010, all of the Combo Box controls and their respective Text Label controls ended up in the upper-right-hand corner of the form and "stuck together", if you will.
It’s obviously some kind layout issue, seeing as breaking the controls out of their impromptu grouping involves selecting "Remove Layout" from the drop-down menu.
What is really puzzling though is that all of the other controls on the form (Text Boxes, Text Labels, even an embedded table) seem to be fine and are in their original starting positions. Whatever this is appears to only affect the Combo Box controls and anything joined/linked/merged to them.
Has anybody encountered something like this?
I don’t think it’s a 32/64-bit issue because I’ve installed Access 2007 and Access 2010 on the same x64 Win-7 Ultimate machine. Once the original 2007 file gets accessed (so to speak) and saved again by 2010, the control placement becomes permanently ‘borked’ under 2007 as well.
I’m familiar with the depreciation of the Calendar control and the trouble it causes when opening 2007 and lower forms that use it under 2010, so I guess I’m wondering if there is a similar or related issue at work here?

04 Mei 2012 20:48I can both confirm that the problem was occurring BEFORE I installed both versions of Access, AND that installing both versions of Access on the same machine is problematic. Hyper-V and taking snapshots has been a godsend in this regard.
Unfortunately though, this one can't be attributed to improper configuration. That was a wrinkle that I hoped would shake something loose and when it didn't, was discarded. Sorry Jaynet; no easy kill this time.
I'm guessing that, because this is appearing to be a one-of event, the root of the problem is pointing back towards the original author. (Apparently one of those: ...someone's cousin's nephew/neice who "...took a course in Office", kind of scenarios.) If you look at the naming of the controls, it looks as if he/she lost interest in that about the time he/she started adding combo boxes.- Diedit oleh ValenceParadigm 04 Mei 2012 20:49 My first language of English should probably, actually, be my second.
