    Hi

    I have designed a infopath leave request form.  employee name is fectched by using userprofile service . Now i want to get approval manager field  auto filled upon the user name.how to do it?

    If the User Profile Sync is configured and Manager field is being synched from AD, you can similarly fetch the Users manager from User Profile Service itself. You can utilize the event when you are fetching the user name to fetch the manager too within the same request.
